VN and Iraq are very different cases. In VN there was an entire other country NV that was being fault.

Iraq was thought to be eaiser because the people were oppressed by a dictator. The problem is/was the people are Muslims , thus freeing them is not really in our interests

You need to do some research.

The Army was doing just fine.

It was the politicians in DC who were screwing it all up, and we wound up wasting all those lives lost in Vietnam by not finishing the job the military could easily do if their hands weren’t tied.

Let’s really not learn from history and waste the military lives lost in Iraq, too. Right Mr. Obama?

The U.S. military does not determine what national policies it will support or not support, it does what the civilian leadership of this government tells it to do! If you have a problem with that you should exercise your option as an American citizen in November and vote for a President that you can approve of….

I guessing however that vote will be wasted however!
